I have been sued by my last landlord because of damages. I know the place was spotless and undamaged when I left last week. I will get a court date soon and plan to go to dispute his claim. I want to find an attorney fairfield CA to go with me to my court date. I know I have not done anything wrong but want to be on the safe side and get a lawyer. I am sure that my landlord will not get a lawyer if he is so cheap he needs to file false claims against honest people. I think this is a pretty dumb thing to do and would like to make my landlord pay for this. I think he will be surprised when I show up with a lawyer. I am not sure how I could have protected myself from this. I do not ever take pictures of an apartment I am moving out of.

Thursday, January 26th, 2012I received some great news today at work. How it was presented was a bit odd though. First, I was told that all of the cubicles in the office were being removed and a common working area was being built out. This common area will contain “travel cubes” that are to be shared by all of the administrators in the office. I wasn’t sure how to take this until I was told that the business is now encouraging administrators to work from home as much as possible so long as it doesn’t interfere with work duties. This was indeed good news.
So, I’m now working on outfitting my new home office. The first order of business is to check out the variety of Computer Desks that are available. I’m hoping to find something with enough storage for my supplies and books but that is kind of small since I’m sharing the room with my cats.
This is so exciting!
